Daily Mood, also presented as DailyMood, is provided by Suzhou Inge Internet Technology Co., Ltd. (“we,” “us,” or “our”). We respect user privacy and personal information protection. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, share, and protect your information when you use Daily Mood and related services.

Daily Mood is a private mood journal and AI emotional treehole app. By default, the app stores your mood records, drafts, settings, and card data locally on your device. When you use online AI features or account features, the app sends the information needed for that request to the Daily Mood online service and configured AI service providers.

If you do not agree with this Privacy Policy, please stop using the service. By starting or continuing to use the service, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Privacy Policy.

1. Information We Collect

To provide and improve the service, we may collect or process the following information:

  1. Mood records and treehole content: mood text, reflections, drafts, multi-turn conversation messages, emotion tags, calendar summaries, AI replies, small action suggestions, reframes, encouragement card text, card styles, card ratios, and generated card images that you create or submit.
  2. Preferences and settings: whether to save original text, whether to use history summaries as AI context, reminder time, gentle mode, whether to show calendar summaries, default card style, and default card ratio.
  3. Account and login information: when you use Sign in with Apple or another supported login method, we may process the stable user identifier, email address, name, login credential, Daily Mood session token, and refresh token returned by Apple or the relevant login provider.
  4. Local device storage information: the app may store mood records, drafts, settings, card assets, session state, and cached data on your device. In iOS or Tauri environments, login sessions may be stored in the system Keychain.
  5. Online AI request information: when you use online AI treehole, card generation, or other connected AI features, the app may send the mood text, emotion tags, recent local summaries, conversation messages, card generation prompts, or image generation inputs needed for that request.
  6. Service operation and log information: to keep the service stable and prevent abuse, we may record request IDs, account IDs or anonymous/authenticated status, request type, model or provider attempted, processing status, latency, token usage, risk level, error codes, access time, IP address, User-Agent, app version, and necessary server logs.
  7. Third-party platform information: when you use the app through Apple, app stores, device systems, or other third-party services, those platforms may process necessary information under their own rules.

The information you write in Daily Mood may include emotions, health, relationships, identity, location, or other private matters. Please only enter information that you are comfortable processing in the app.

2. How We Use Information

We use collected or processed information for the following purposes:

  1. To save and display your local mood records, drafts, cards, and calendar.
  2. To generate AI treehole replies, emotion tags, light reframes, small action suggestions, encouragement card text, card images, and calendar summaries.
  3. To provide multi-turn conversations, history-summary context, and personalized preferences.
  4. To create, verify, and manage account sessions, and to protect access to online AI features.
